William H. “Bill” Goforth is a seasoned attorney with 36 years of experience. He has successfully tried cases involving deaths and injuries occurring during railroad-vehicle collisions, 18-wheeler collisions, drunk driver automobile collisions, automobile collisions, defective roadways, electrocutions from high voltage power lines, medical malpractice, and motorcycle accidents.

Bill’s experience includes automobile collision claims, all types of commercial truck personal injury cases, highway defect cases, products liability, construction cases, worker’s compensation cases, and has many years of litigation experience.

Bill belongs to many professional organizations and holds a variety of awards and honors. He’s taught numerous classes and seminars on a variety of topics. He’s a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans Association. Bill serves on the board for the Methodist Children’s Home and is active in veteran affairs. Bill is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice Law, by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  Bill has been recognized as a Diplomate of Trial Advocacy by the National College of Advocacy.  He has been listed as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Louisiana by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Bill received his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Law School in 1982 and his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Troy State University in 1977.
